90% reduction in price to $50 for a proprietary license of Gaia Ajax Widgets

Howdy all Monkeys, I don't know how relevant this is since I expect a lot of you Monkeys are using the GPL version of Gaia which is free of charge anyway, but today we reduced the price of Gaia Ajax Widgets by almost 90% :)





The new price is now $49!

This means that you can now use Gaia in your closed source (proprietary) projects for less than what you'd pay for a family dinner at McDonalds.

Here's the catch though; If you use the $49 price you don't get "official support". You can still post in our forums, but when the support requests becomes too large we're gonna have to differentiate between those having the official support agreement (which they have paid almost a thousand EUROs for) and the 49ers.

Why do this _insane_ price reduction?

We feel that Gaia is now such a great tool for RIA development that the entire web would benefit from building on top of Gaia. And we really enjoy giving out great tools to ALL the developers in this world. And if this is what is needed to make Gaia completely upgrade the entire web, then we need to do it. The web would significantly benefit from being built on top of Gaia and we would like the Open Web to grow. So to keep a too steep price for proprietary licenses is basically a "crime againt humanity" and the Open Web we all love so much :)

How can you do this?

We believe that if we do good things then good things will come around to us. We hope and believe that this will massively increase the number of sales of Gaia and in fact give us the same or even more revenue. Though for this to happen we are dependant upon help from YOU! If you're a dedicated Monkey (or .Net developer) and you like our product then we really need your help! If you can blog about this, Gaia or us in a positive manner to help us spread the message we would be very happy. We are putting a lot of faith into you guys when doing this. We're almost giving away Gaia for free, help us continue doing that by writing good things about us :)

BTW, if you are currently evaluating Gaia in regards to using it yourself in proprietary software system, then clicking that PayPal button over at our Buy page would probably make all the Titans @ Gaiaware sleep a lot better the next couple of weeks!
