About Jan Blomquist
Jan Blomquist is the creator of these Gaia Ajax Widgets Videos. The first one (which you hopefully just have seen) is our marketing video which shows some of the benefits of Gaia and at the same time demonstrates some of our widgets in use.
It only takes 7 minutes and I guarantee you that it will change your entire life as a professional system developer! Watch it!
Jan Blomquist is an MVP in addition to being one of the most certified people in the world on Microsoft Technology. He now works as one of the core architects on Gaia Ajax Widgets. Before he started in Frost Innovation as an Ajax developer he ran a private school for developers and sys-admins in Skien, Norway. So his training skills are brilliant! | |
Then some training videos
Then here are some "training videos" which goes more into the depths of Gaia Ajax Widgets and further explains how to use the widgets and the benefits of choosing Gaia. These are with Jan speaking and telling you what you see as the video progresses. No music in these ones.
If the first video got you interested, then these videos will instantly change the rest of your career as a professional! The total length of these three Videos are 27 minutes.

thomasInteresting...!
If we in three videos STILL don't get to communicate our USPs that's a REALLY "wake up call"... ;)

thomasBut to make short statement regarding what we're more or less alone in;
- No need to code JavaScript (doesn't apply for ASP.NET AJAX, Telerik of Infragistics)
- Works on Mono (doesn't apply for any of the above either)
- Open Source (--repeat--)
- Maintains STATE on Client (--repeat-- which makes it possible to do some really awesome stuff which is more or less impossible in any of the above)
- etc...
We have like about 24 USPs that we're more or less alone in at least compared to the ones above (which are our largest competitors) and I think that's pretty nice... ;)

We have tested compatibility with Visual Studio.NET 2008 beta 2 and it is compatible with that suite.
We will work on some VB.NET samples of using Gaia too. Gaia can be used with any CLR compatible language.
