Error using FCK Editor

Hello

I've been trying to get FCK Editor to work with the gaia controls all evening and I'm just not getting anywhere.

It seems to load ok for the first time, but if I attempt a postback (on a gaia:button control) and try to get the value from the FCK editor, i get the following error:

Server response evaluation failure:
Object required

I've tried the other FCK posts on this forum, but I didn't quite understand it. Has anyone ever managed to get it to work? Is there any example code anywhere if they have?

Hi Paul,

There is problem that we need to investigate further. Unfortunately, you would need to to turn off request validation in order to be able to use it now, and you would also need to use Server.HtmlDecode(FCKEditor.Value) to get the editor's Value. Turning off request validation means that you need to be careful about content submitted to your page and it becomes *your* responsibility to ensure that the this content is properly processed.
