About Gaia Ajax Widgets

Gaia Ajax Widgets is an Open Source Ajax Framework for ASP.NET. It runs on many different platforms thanx to Mono and works on most of the common browsers in the world. Gaia Ajax Widgets is a "Widgets Framework" which means it consists of Widgets which you can include in your own applications.

Gaia Widgets inherits from the "conventional" ASP.NET WebControls like Button, CheckBox etc so there will be little or no learning curve required for those known to the WebControl model of ASP.NET. Gaia also completely abstracts away the concept of JavaScript so you don't have to think about anything else than C#, VB.NET or your favorite Mono or .Net programming language and everything will be "automagically" transformed into JavaScript for your browser.

Gaia is licensed under GPL version 3, but there are also commercially enabling licenses which makes it possible to use in a proprietary environment for those not wanting to obey by the GPL license terms.
