Everything you need to start developing Ajax solutions for ASP.NET with Gaia Ajax Widgets is included in our single installer. It will run the GPL version as default. You can use the GPL version to evaluate or build open source software.
If you decide to build closed source, commercial applications with Gaia, you will need to purchase a Gaia Proprietary license.

Getting started with Gaia

Getting started with Gaia is extremely simple. Here's some steps...

• Download Gaia by clicking the download link at the top of this page
• Run the downloaded .exe file and complete the 1-minute installation.
• In Visual Studio, create a new Gaia site by selecting File -> New WebSite -> Gaia Web Site
• Add some controls from your new Gaia toolbox.
• Press F5 to run your web site.
• That's it! You're now using Gaia Ajax Widgets!

Forums

Searching or browsing the forums is a great way to learning about Gaia, and to get help with any particular questions.

Samples

The best way to learn Gaia is to use it. Try experimenting with the simpler controls first, such as the TextBox, Button, Label, InPlaceEdit and AutoCompleter. The samples will have been installed to your Program Files/Gaia folder. Alternatively you can see the samples here on our web site.

What's in the download?

  Download the installer above and you are up and running for evaluating Gaia or creating your own GPL software.

• Full commercial version

  If you have decided to purchase a license for your commercial, closed source project, you can make a valid license file from the License Activator (can be found under your Program Files/Gaia folder after the installation). After your purchase you will receive a serial which you can use in this License Activator.
