Gaia Roadmap
Since we in Gaiaware are pretty found of customer driven development which means that our customers gets to decide a lot about what features we'll add into Gaia Ajax Widgets it's really hard to create a long roadmap. Therefor we've created this page which at least states what we're pretty sure of we'll add up in the Q4 Release which will come out the 15th of November 2007.
Features we're pretty certain we'll add up in the Q4 2007 release of Gaia Ajax Widgets!- DataGrid reusable UserControl (wraps a Repeater/GridView)
- WYSIWYG Editor UserControl (wraps our RichEdit control with default buttons, menus etc)
- TabControl UserControl (wraps a MultiView/Panel with buttons to choose active "page")
- MessageBox.Show logic (wraps window taking two delegates for OK and Cancel clicked + caption and body of "message box")
- Sticky DateTimePicker (DateTimePicker which always shows the "select date dropdown")
- Draggable Panel (a panel which can be dragged around on the form)
- Droppable panel (a Draggable Panel can be dropped onto this with event handlers for such events)
- Some sort of "context menu" object which can be associated with other controls (TreeView...?)
- Implement Focus() method in Gaia Callbacks for controls.
- Some sort of splitter or alignment control.
- Custom templates on AutoCompleter (showing images in AutoCompleter items etc)
Some of these features might come already in our upcoming Q3 release (15th of August 2007) while other features might not be feasible to implement at all. But mostly this can be seen as a list of what we're thinking to implement before the Q4 Release 2007. If you have feature requests or other ideas for what we should implement feel free to post these suggestions in our forums.
